Gary Lineker, 62, married Welsh mannequin Danielle Bux, 43, in 2009 after courting for 2 years prior. Seven “fantastic” years later, the couple shocked followers by asserting their divorce, with Gary sharing on Twitter that they “stay very shut and the best of pals”.
The Match of the Day host has now revealed new particulars about their cut up, saying that it was a “logical” choice.
Showing on Gabby Logan’s The Mid-Level podcast, Gary defined that their separation was “purely right down to kids”.
He mentioned that that they had not deliberate on having any as a result of Danielle already had a daughter, Ella, now 20, and Gary had 4 older sons.
He shares George, Harry, Tobias and Angus together with his first spouse, Michelle Cockayne, 57.
He informed the Each day Star final 12 months: “I’m glad being single now. It’s good to be unanswerable in a barely egocentric method and I’m not actively searching for a companion proper now.
“I had two fantastic marriages and now I’m single and I’m in a very good place, however that may change.
