A CTV Information Kitchener reporter has been struck and significantly injured whereas protecting a crash simply south of Guelph, Ont.
Stephanie Villella was on the intersection of Brock Street South and Maltby Street which had been closed and barricaded by police when she was hit by sedan.
She had been gathering pictures of a separate two-vehicle crash that occurred on Brock Street earlier within the day.
“On the highway closed barricade right here, we had a pedestrian struck by a separate automobile, a sedan,” OPP Const. Joshua Cunningham stated.
Villella was transported to a trauma centre with accidents police name critical and probably life-threatening.
