The controversy, which has since been dubbed “spitgate”, was slammed by Chris quickly after as, his consultant issued an announcement saying this was “a totally fabricated alternate” and branded the claims as “ridiculous” and “silly hypothesis”.
Now, in an interview with Esquire, Chris confirmed that “Harry didn’t spit on me”, and supplied some clarification for the state of affairs.
The 42-year-old assured that his costar “is a really form man” and as they left the movie pageant everybody was “having a good time on the airplane”.
Throughout the journey, Chris fell asleep on the airplane solely to be woken by his publicist saying he wanted to make an announcement.
